Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Curry Recipe

  • 1kg Chicken (without skin)
  • 4tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 onions crushed
  • 3 tomatoes crushed
  • 1½ coconuts milk
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 3 green chilies chopped
  • 3 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 5 tsp refined oil
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 lemon

Method for Chicken Curry Recipe

Cut the chicken into pieces. Wash it well and squeeze the lemon on it. Keep it aside for 1/2 hour to magnate.

Heat oil and ghee in pan, add onion. Fry it well till it gets brown. Add ginger garlic paste, chicken pieces and green chilies. Fry deeply as water come out from chicken. Add salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder. Stir all the powders and chicken well. Add crushed onion, crushed tomatoes and coconut milk, water.

Cook it until the chicken boils and the curry becomes thick. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve with Rice or Chapatti or Idly.
